Users and Roles

The Enterprise Edition can be used by multiple users. Users are created and allocated permissions based on an assigned role. Four defined default roles are included, which are not configurable, but configurable roles can be created, as required.

To view the permissions of the default roles and any created roles, go to Administration > Role Management and click on View Permissions or Edit.

Note:  The above image shows a 'test' user in addition to the default Roles.

Default Roles:

  • User: Gives access to the essential permissions
  • Quality: Gives access to all the User role permissions, with additional permissions
  • Engineer: Gives access to all the Quality role permissions, with additional permissions
  • Admin: Gives access to all permissions
