Custom cards show a user generated combination of channels from different groups and / or instruments.

To create Custom Groups you must enable custom groups settings.

  1. Go to Settings > Global Settings.
  2. In the Custom Groups Settings, tick the Enable Custom Groups Feature option.
  3. Click on Save Custom Groups Settings. You can now create custom groups in the Groups and Batches.
  1. Go to Groups and Batches.
  2. Click on Custom > Add new custom group.
  3. Give the custom group a meaningful name.
    The Create custom group button does not become available until a name has been entered.

    Note:  You can edit the point properties only after the custom group is created.

  4. In Available channels click in the tick boxes to select the required channel(s).

    Note:  Use the Quick search... to narrow the list of channels.

  5. In the Selected channels list:
    • Filter the results with the Quick search...
    • On each Channel row, click on to remove that Channel.
  6. Select the required Message types to show.
  7. Click on Create. Depending on the Start date/time, End date/time, and the search filter, the new custom group is displayed in the custom group page and has all the options similar to a Group Card.

    Note:  If the new custom group contains data from more than one source group, then the Annotations, Automatic Print at end of batch, and Print History options are disabled.

  8. You can edit a custom group in the Channelsview.
