Replacing your Input/Output (I/O) Module
An I/O module can be changed when the device is either powered on or powered off:

Hot-Swapping - Changing modules while the device is powered on.

Replacing - Changing modules while the device is powered off.

To hot-swap an I/O module while the device is powered on:

Remove the old module by depressing the lever on the top to release it and gently unhook it from the bottom.

Remove the terminal block from the old module.
Note - For all output modules, only perform a hot-swap when the load is switched off. -
Hook the lower part of the replacement module on to the device and then press the module upwards until it clicks into place.

Reconnect the same terminal block to the new module.
