Unpacking your EPM Device(s)
EPM device(s) are dispatched in specially designed packaging to protect them during transit. Should the outer box show signs of damage, even if no damage to the device is visible, contact your local representative.
To unpack your device:

Use the side cut-outs to carefully lift the box onto a flat surface:

Remove the folded starter insert from the cut-out hole and lift the top flap of the box without tearing:

Remove the recycled expanded polyethylene
Recycled Expanded Polyethylene (EPE) - Refers to expanded polyethylene foam made by expanding polyethylene resin with a blowing agent recovered, processed, and reused after its initial lifecycle. (EPE) top layer. Optional components, including the power supply unit (PSU) and accessories are supplied in a separate cardboard enclosure:
Note - Your shunt printed circuit board assembly (PCBA)
Shunt printed circuit board assembly (PCBA) - It is a small assembled circuit board containing a precision shunt resistor used to convert current (mA) into a measurable voltage (e.g. for the EPM mA input)., IEC C13 plug
International Electrotechnical Commission C13 plug (IEC C13) - It is a standardized power connector defined by the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) under standard IEC 60320. It is widely used for connecting electrical appliances to the power supply, especially in IT and office equipment. and Snubber
Snubber - A snubber is a small protective circuit or device added to limit or “cushion” sudden changes in voltage or current. are packed inside the accessory box. -
Remove the PSU and accessories (if ordered). The recorder is placed screen side up. Lift it carefully by the side edges, avoiding pressure on the screen:

Remove all remaining EPE padding from around and beneath the device, checking for any remaining accessories, for example cables or documentation.

Place the recorder and PSU (if ordered) on a clean, flat surface, ready for setup.
