Counters

A counter channel counts the number of signals from an input, it can count up or down from a preset value. The value of a counter can be used to trigger actions, for example, starting or stopping a timer.

Within EPM Data Management up to 128 counters can be configured.

Note - The current value of a Counter is stored as non-volatile (NVOL) data and is saved to the EPM Device on-board memory, the historical data for the channel is saved as part of the .uhh recording.
