Migrating to EPM Data Management

Once you have ordered EPM Data Management, if a migration from a legacy Eurotherm data recorder, for example a 6000 Series, is required, the following must be completed:

Tip - We strongly recommend before you start this process, that you review the current configuration of the recorder device being migrated and remove anything you do not want to migrate, for example, unused Events or Alarms.
Note - Please be aware the historical data files from prior to your migration date are not migrated and are therefore not available within your EPM Solution you must therefore archive them off the existing recorder.

  • Configuration Conversion - This is completed by the service department at Eurotherm, if you have a legacy Eurotherm data recorder you are looking to migrate to EPM Data Management, please contact your sales representative to arrange conversion.

  • Installation - The installation and power up of the EPM Data User Interface, see Installation for details.

  • Importing the Converted Configuration - Once the Eurotherm service department have completed the conversion, they send it by email to the designated contact. The file must be copied onto a USB C data drive and then imported on to the EPM Data Management device(s).
