Group and Batch Cards
Group cards and batch cards contain the data for recording groups (or batches) for each available instrument. Each card gives the identity of the group, or batch, and the date and time of the available data. Each card also has a card menu bar.
All new group cards (and its batch cards (if any)) are visible to all users (default). If required, each group card (and its batch cards (if any)) can be configured to be visible to selected users only.
Note: All dates and times are shown in instrument time.
Note: The Groups and Batches page is empty until data files have been imported either manually or automatically by a configured data source.
- Group Card: Contains the data for a recording group on an instrument. Each instrument can have many recording groups (one instrument with many group cards). If required, create a View to restrict user access to view a group card and its batches (if any)
- Custom (group) Card: Shows a user generated combination of channels from different groups and / or instruments. Custom groups can be created and edited from the Groups and Batches page
- Batch Card: Contains the recorded batch data (if available) for each group card
Note: If the Group that contains the batch files is assigned to a View, access to those batches will be restricted to the users assigned to that View.

Note: Menu items show dependent on card type and user access rights.
- Group and Instrument: Shows the name of the instrument group and the name and ID of the instrument the group comes from.
- Card Menu (menu items shown is dependent the card type):
Close and return to the card list
Show the Chart: See data viewed as a linear or circular chart (also, click on the card itself to also show the chart)
Edit the custom group
Show Channels: See the channel colors, channel names, units, type and instrument name
Print Settings: Set the print settings for the group. These print settings override global print settings
Show the Print History: See the print history for automatic prints for this group (manual print requests are not recorded)
In the Print History download or print the history of the cards as requiredGo to Batches: See the batch cards in this group (if any)
Assign View: Assign the group card to a View. If the group card is already assigned to a View, the assigned View will show.
Scheduled Reports: See the scheduled reports.

Note: A View can be assigned to multiple groups / custom cards.
Delete the Custom Group Card (the data is not removed from the database)
- Data Range on Card: The range of the data contained by the card.
