Manually Import Large Amounts of UHH Files

UHH files can be manually imported into the database from a local drive, a networked drive, or a USB memory device. For example, this could be required if the instrument is not networked or on the same network as the Data Reviewer.

If a large amount of UHH files (including folders of UHH files) are to be imported, it is quicker to import through a Data Reviewer inbox.

<install Path>\ProgramData\Eurotherm\Reviewer\InBoxFast

Note:  There could be many inbox folders and files or folders. Do not use inbox folders with 'work' in their name.

Note:  To upload UHH files to the inbox you must have administration rights for the Windows PC.

  1. Select the UHH files, or the folders which contain UHH files, to be uploaded.
  2. Move or copy the selected UHH files or folders to: <install Path>\ProgramData\Eurotherm\Reviewer\InBoxFast.

The UHH files are temporally moved or copied into the selected inbox. From the inbox the required data is put into the database (where they are validated) and then valid UHH files are moved to the archive folder. The valid files have been imported and are shown as group cards and batch cards (if available) on the Groups and Batches page.

Invalid files are moved to a Rejects folder (default path <install Path>\ProgramData\Eurotherm\Reviewer\Rejects).

Note:  The invalid files are shown in Notifications.
