Aerospace Material Specification (AMS) 2750

Aerospace Material Specification (AMS) 2750 defines the requirements for thermal processing equipment used in metal heat treatment applications. It covers temperature sensors, control and recording instrumentation, system accuracy tests, and temperature uniformity surveys:

• Thermocouple Life Monitoring - The EPM Solution provides thermocouple life monitoring functionality based on AMS2750G, both thermocouple usage and days remaining are accounted for to help ensure that thermocouples are not used beyond their maximum life as per AMS2750H.

• Automated Scheduling - Using a furnace when it has exceeded its allowable period for calibration, thermal uniformity survey (TUS), or system accuracy test (SAT) can result in audit non-compliance and monetary loss. The EPM Solution provides notification of due dates for:

Secure Data Archiving

Secure data archiving is a fundamental requirement in the aerospace industry. Within the EPM Solution, secure data logging, data archiving and user access are all designed to give you peace of mind while still providing ease of use. Process data and metadata values are continually logged to the internal, non-volatile flash memory. Records are stored in a secure, binary, checksummed format to protect data integrity:

• Integral audit trail.

• Specific user access permissions, configurable for each user.
