Configuring a TUSClosed Temperature Uniformity Survey Due Application Channel

A TUS Due Application channel indicates when a Temperature Uniformity SurveyClosed A Temperature Uniformity Survey is an assessment of the temperature variation within the qualified work zone of thermal processing equipment. (TUS) is due by counting down the remaining days from a preset interval as defined by the Aerospace Material Specification (AMS) 2750 standard or a user-defined custom value. The required survey frequency depends on the furnace class and minimum instrumentation type being used.

Note - You can only access this function if you have the Can access Applications permission. To add, update or delete an Application channel, you must also have the Can configure permission. If you need to access these functions and do not have permission, please contact your system administrator.

To access, add and configure a TUS Due Application channel:

From the EPM Data User Interface screen, select Options - Functions - Applications:

Select from the following options to expand the details:

Tip - Select Add Alarm to configure an alarm on this channel, see Configuring an Alarm for further details.

Once complete, select Review pending changes screen to review updates to the configuration, and submit them. See Reviewing and Submitting Changes for details if required.

Note - Reviewing and submitting can be completed in bulk once you have completed all your additions and/or updates.
