Editing a Totalizer Channel

Note - You can only access this function if you have the Can access Totalizer permissions. You can only add or update a totalizer if you have the Can configure permission. If you need to access these functions and do not have permission, please contact your system administrator.

A totalizer channel allows the running total for any input or math channel to be recorded.

To edit an existing totalizer channel:

  1. From the EPM Data User Interface screen, select Options - Functions - Totalizers:

  2. The Totalizers screen displays:

    Note - Channels with alarms configured display a down arrow . Select Expand to display the alarms and Collapse to hide them.

    From the list in the left-hand pane, select the totalizer required and the details display in the right-hand pane.

    Tip - Remember you can use Sort or Filters to find a specific totalizer, see Sorting and Filtering Totalizers for details.
  3. Select the setting to update and the Configuration lock screen displays:

    If you are not already in Configuration lock, the Configuration lock screen displays:

    Enter a reason if required and then select Confirm . The system configuration is now locked pending the submission of your update and the Configuration Locked icon displays on the status bar.

    Note - Configuration lock does not affect the operation of the EPM device.

  4. Update as required, see Configuring a Totalizer Channel for details.

  5. Once complete, select Review pending changes screen to review updates to the configuration, and submit them. See Reviewing and Submitting Changes for details if required.

    Note - Reviewing and submitting can be completed in bulk once you have completed all your additions and/or updates.
