Editing a Maths Channel

To edit the configuration of an existing Maths channel:

Note - You can only access this function if you have the Can access Maths permission. To add, update or delete a Maths channel, you must also have the Can configure permission. If you need to access these functions and do not have permission, please contact your system administrator.
  1. From the EPM User Interface screen, select Options - Functions - Maths:

  2. From the left-hand side of the Maths screen, select the Maths channel required. The Math Configuration section displays on the right-hand side:

    Tip - You can use Sort or Filters to find a specific Maths channel, see Sorting and Filtering Maths for details.

  3. If you are not already in Configuration lock, the Configuration lock screen displays:

    Enter a reason if required and then select Confirm . The system configuration is now locked pending the submission of your update and the Configuration Locked icon displays on the status bar.

    Note - Configuration lock does not affect the operation of the EPM device.

  4. Select from the following and update as required:

  5. When you update the Type of a channel, the Change function screen displays, select Confirm to continue:


  6. Once complete, select Review pending changes screen to review updates to the configuration, and submit them. See Reviewing and Submitting Changes for details if required.

    Note - Reviewing and submitting can be completed in bulk once you have completed all your additions and/or updates.
