Editing a Batch Configuration

To update a Batch Configuration:

Note - You can only update Batch Configurations if you have the Can configure and the Can access Batch Configuration permissions. If you need to access these functions and do not have permission, please contact your system administrator.
Note - A batch configuration cannot be updated if it is currently in use, either wait until any batches are finished before editing the configuration, or manually stop them, see Stopping a Batch for details.
  1. From the EPM Data User Interface screen, select Options - Batch - Batch Configuration:

    The Batch Configuration screen displays.

  2. From the available list, select the Batch Configuration to update, see Sorting and Filtering Batch Configurations for details if required:

    From the right-hand side, select the field to update.

  3. If you are not already in Configuration lock, the Configuration lock screen displays:

    Enter a reason if required and then select Confirm . The system configuration is now locked pending the submission of your update and the Configuration Locked icon displays on the status bar.

    Note - Configuration lock does not affect the operation of the EPM device.

  4. Update details as required.

  5. Once complete, select Review pending changes screen to review updates to the configuration, and submit them. See Reviewing and Submitting Changes for details if required.

    Note - Reviewing and submitting can be completed in bulk once you have completed all your additions and/or updates.
