This is a matter of preference, either method can be used; however, many users find it quicker to use a remote login.

A linear chart, bar chart, numeric view and historic chart are available for selection. For both the linear and bar charts, you can select the orientation.

Note - Unlike a 6000 series recorders you only have one linear or bar chart, you do not have the option to enable both horizontal and vertical views.

You must select the orientation of your charts, although this is quick and easy to change if required. You can select which views display for which Group, for example, numeric for Group 1 or bar chart for Group 2.

Each channel can be adjusted or calibrated individually. You can also use theCalibration DueApplication channel to set an alarm as a reminder when a calibration is due.

Note - The calibration frequency is user-defined, as it depends on your organization's calibration policy.

To comply with cybersecurity best practice, if an EPM Data Management user interface is left inactive for more than the time specified in Settings - Security Policies - Session Timeout, the device automatically terminates the active session and you must log in again to continue.

Note - If you have locked the configuration, not submitted your configuration changes and then had your session terminated, you retain the configuration lock.
